Again, thanks to Michelle Malkin (What a Gal!) and Competitive Enterprise Institute we have evidence of government rigging of climate science in order to pass repressive global warming legislation. Here’s the text of the suppressed report.

The Preface to the report states:

The Waxman-Markey bill, introduced after 3:00 AM and voted the next day is just another little step in the destruction of our democracy and our economy. Listening to Steny Hoyer describe this bill of goods as a way to reduce the cost of foreign supplied gasoline, reduction of global warming, increasing utility company efficiency, etc. etc. and then saying it would be the way to avoid the 70’s gas lines — what complete idiocy is this? Where does this monster bill address foreign oil? This is a demagogic performance of the lowest sort. He talks about the energy “WE produce.” No, the oil companies produce energy — Steny and WE don’t.

Reality:
1) There is no energy CRISIS.
2) Energy is not scarce.
3) There is no man-caused global warming.
4) Al Gore is a nut case, pure and simple.
5) Congressional Democrats and some Republicans are gullible nut cases too.

Never before in my exprience have I seen such an insane mania obtain such a firm grip on the public mind as has the global warming/energy crisis/green insanity.

But mark my prediction. In a very few years, when the falacy of global warming is finally revealed and accepted, you won’t find anyone who will admit that they once believed in it.
